My Personal Birthing Experience

On September 22, 1982 I gave birth to  7lb 6oz baby boy. I was a new mother and I was a beginner on everything in regards to being a mother but, the bundle of joy I had just given birth to caused my maternal instincts to kick right in. What I remember so well was the awful and  horrific pains of labor but that quickly vanished when I saw my beautiful baby. I chose to talk about my child birth because it's more personal and it gives me an opportunity to share my experience about childbirth. and development with others. When I think about the course of childhood development it allows me to reflect on how I cared for and nurtured my baby as an infant. The greatest opportunity ever afforded to me was cultivating and helping my son grow into a mature adult.
